Mobile marketing innovator Mobile Discovery announced today that it will be partnering with Scanbuy, Inc. to offer EZcodes (2D barcodes) through Mobile Discovery’s Connected Media Platform. These unique 2D codes can immediately link millions of camera phone users to mobile content from offline media, removing the need for people to search by keyword or type in lengthy URL’s ....
Mobile Discovery has previously used ScanLife codes at Case Western University in one of the country’s first large scale trials of the technology. In that project EZcodes were used in a number of ways including the delivery of real-time bus schedules and on print ads from advertisers like QVC.
